| The Beaufort Gazette, S.C.McClatchy-Tribune Regional News Dec. 3--AAA recently awarded Four Diamond ratings to 37 hotels and restaurants in South Carolina, including nine in Beaufort County. "AAA's requirements for a Four Diamond rating are rigorous," Dave Parsons, president and CEO of AAA Carolinas, said in a news release. "Those that win it are among the best hotels and restaurants in the world." In Beaufort, the Rhett House Inn won a Four Diamond accommodation award for the 14th year. The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton won an accommodation award for the second year. Five hotels on Hilton Head Island won the Four Diamond accommodation award: the Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort for the 14th year; the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa for the sixth year; the Hilton Oceanfront Resort Hilton Head Island for the third year; the Inn at Harbour Town for the sixth year; and the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa for the 15th year. Two restaurants on Hilton Head Island also earned a Four Diamond rating.
